Gladstone Primary School boasts an excellent school choir. It has performed in many places across the city, from Higfields Church, Cathays High and The Gate, to St. Davids Hall and with the Welsh National Opera.
The choir is open to boys and girls from Year 3-6. Mrs. Nicholson carries out simple auditions for choir during early September, so that they can then prepare for the Christmas Concert performances.
Being part of the choir is great fun! The children enjoy singing a range of repertoire from pop, to classics. Songs have included; 'Shine' by Take That, 'I've Gotta Feeling' The Black Eyed Peas, 'You'll Never Walk Alone' from Carousel, and Traditional Africaan Folk Songs.
