Summer Reading Challenge 2020

The Summer Reading Challenge 2020 is launching in Wales on Friday 17 July.

This year's Summer Reading Challenge theme is Silly Squad, a celebration of funny books, happiness and laughter and encouraging fun, imagination and creativity.

The Summer Reading Challenge benefits children by keeping up their reading levels over the summer as well as increasing their confidence in choosing, reading and discussing books. This year the Summer Reading Challenge will also be offering children something recognisable in a changed world.

The Summer Reading Challenge will be digital in 2020, with activities, reading recommendations, and registration taking place online. To sign up and receive digital prizes, https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/

Children can also receive a Silly Squad collectors pack from Cardiff Libraries and Hubs. To receive your pack and to make sure we have all the information we need for your child’s medal and certificate, please complete our online form.
