Welcome to our School Council web page. Here you can learn all about the work of our Councillors and what they have achieved.
Who are the School Council?
The School Council is made up of representatives from Year 1 to Year 6. In September each class nominated representatives to be part of the School Council. Voting took place in the first week of term to decide who will be our School Councillors- children had to explain why they wanted the job and how they thought they could improve school life, their classmates then voted for their class representative.
When do we meet?

Mrs C Rhys-Williams and Mrs D Weston. Last year we have raised money for school funds during our Roald Dahl dress up day and we have supported 2 charities by raising funds for them during our 'Spotty Day' fun day. We thought of ways to help to raise money which included timed 'on the spot' exercise activities and dressing up in spotty clothes. Thank you all for your creativity the day was a HUGE success and we managed to raise over £100 to split equally between our 2 chosen charities- Children in Need and RNLI Lifeboats.
Please have a look at our action plan for this year. Last year we helped to choose our new Deputy Headteacher- Mrs. Nicholson. We thought of our own questions and answers and we helped to interview all of the candidates.
Please help us to improve the school by talking to your school council members and letting us know what you think. Don’t forget to put any suggestion you have for the school council into the suggestion box or tell your school council representatives. We want to know how you think we can make the school even better.
